Freak potato (Netted Gems) - Brought in by Mr. Von Spracken.
A freak of nature in the potato family, is this large two pound six ounce potato with three matured potatoes, and two small ones growing from the main potato. The potato was grown from ordinary Netted Gem seed in a large plot on the farm of Tulley and Sons, Curtis Siding. The oddity was brought into the store by Ervine Von Sprecken, who in turn brought it to the Graphic. Mr. Von Sprecken said there are many oddities in nature brought in to him, but this is the first time he has seen anything of this kind.
