CFB Southport host Voyageur Travellers from Frobisher Bay Baffin Island
This happy group of young people comprises a group of Voyageur Travellers from Frobisher Bay, on Baffin Island and some of their hosting friends from Winnipeg Beach. The Voyageurs from Frobisher Bay and surrounding area are on an exchange visit to Winnipeg Beach. Thursday they enjoyed a one-day visit to Portage la Prairie. While here they visited city hall, the mushroom plant, two schools, one being a new open-area type and had a swim in the Lions Memorial Pool. They were hosted to lunch in the Redeemer Luthern church. Later in the day they were guests at CFB Southport.
