Winter Fun Festival Queen contestants receive tips on poise and speech

1970 Portage Winter Fun Festival Queen candidates will be well groomed in posture and their ability to present themselves to the public. Sunday afternoon in the Masonic Temple, the contestants received invaluable tips from Toast mistress Mrs. Bernice Maxwell (centre) on do's and don'ts on speaking to the public. Mrs. Malcolm Ford, standing at left, and Mrs. Ed Ford at right, gave the girls instruction in proper posture and carriage when appearing before judges and audience.
