Tops ice sculpture

La Verendrye placed first in the school division of the Chamber [text missing]sored Winter Fun Festival ice sculpturing contest this year. Their mixe[text missing]cluded this 'Old Man Winter is a Goner'. From the left are Darren Chapma[text missing]inski, Shelly Caster, Susan Teasdale. Brad Henderson, Roger McIntosh and Michael Stanley. Victoria School was runner-up. Kinsmen topped the service clubs with an Arctic Scene sculpture near Linden's Flowers while Beth Taylor of 124 10th Street N.W. topped the individual entries with a dinosaur. Although entries were down the calibre of work was excellent.
