Schools Band

Perth, Ont. school - Two performances here, guest of local group

Perth school band

The 40 piece schools band from Perth, Ontario gave two concerts in Portage la Prairie Tuesday. The first, in the afternoon, was at Crescentview school and the second for the general public at the Island Park band shell in the evening. The band is directed by Ted Graham and every second year goes on tour. Presently it is touring Manitoba coming here following appearances at Thompson. Band members were billeted in Portage by Portage schools band members and left this morning to play in Morden and southern areas.
