Three Portage schools band members attend workshop
Band workshop
Three members of the Portage schools band returned recently from a three-day band workshop at the Brandon University School of Music. L to r are Bobby Beck, Crescentview school, trumpeter; Margaret Heal, Prince Charles, euphonium; and Walter Byrka, Prince Charles, susaphone [sousaphone]. The workshop was conducted by William Gordon and included band sessions as well as individual instrument workshops.
