Schools “Keep Our City Clean” poster campaign
A natural starting point — Murray Painter, a Fort la Reine pupil and one of the city’s many “Keep Our City Clean” poster designers, tacks up one of his creations on the bulletin board at city hall. Looking on approvingly are, left to rightk [right]: Mayod [Mayor] W. A. Linden, Bruce Miller of the Chamber of Commerce, driving force behind the clean-up campaign, and Mrs. John McLean Sr., the woman who headed the public school poster competition.
