March 20/53 Microscopic

Moth Close-Up

Shown above is a Turnip Butterfly which was caught in the home of A. C. Bateman, 69 Broadway North, on Wednesday. It is believed the butterfly first came out of a woodbox, then flew around the house and finally landed on a ball of wool on the window sill. Mr. Bateman caught the insect and put it in a box. His young son, Jimmy, brought it into the Graphic office the same day.
