Placed Second In Provincial Competitions
The Portage La Prairie Home of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Strilec at 22 La Verendrye Crescent in Koko Platz that had been awarded second place in the provincial competition for urban home grounds. The competition was sponsored jointly by the Manitoba Horticultural Society and the Manitoba department of agriculture. The grounds won first place in the local competition sponsored by the Portage and District Horticulutural Society earlier this month .
