Bob “Pop” Colvin and fish
Quite a few Portagers will recognize the man in this picture. He is genial Bob "Pop" Colvin who left the city last year, to reside at Sointula, B.C. Bob was manager of the local arena rink for quite a few years. According to word we received from the coast, the fish in the picture is the one he caught, the big one got away. The fish is a halibut and weighed 65 pounds. The Colvins say they are really enjoying life at the coast and the weather right now is perfect.
