Square dancing contest at Poplar Point

Displaying finesse that was hard to beat, this Gladstone set are shown "promanading [sic] around the hall" at the Poplar Point Square-Dancing competition. The set won the championship. In the above picture are: Lead Ruebin Smith and Mrs. Smith of Gladstone; Joe Cook of Gladstone and Margaret Fairhall of Portage; Oscar Wallin and Mrs. Wallin of Gladstone; and Mrs. Mabel Partaker and Jack Bland of Neepawa.
