The Daily Graphic Trophy Presented
Grant Farncombe’s P.C.I. Rink won the Daily Graphic event in the Portage High School bonspiel. The event was open only to PCI and Arthur Meighen rinks. John Vopni on the left presents Grant with the trophy. On Grant’s left are second Susan Moorehouse, third Valerie Hrymak, and lead Clark Munroe. The Farncombe rink also won the Darragh Shoe event and the grand aggregate honors. The Darragh event was the bonspiel’s third event. For winning the grand aggregate the four above curlers received individual trophies from Delta Lanes. Farncombe and Jim Hicks were tied for grand aggregate honors, but Farncombe won a single game showdown.
