MB1870: Manitoba Historical Photographs

(Tashiro) Dec. 10/1959, Animal, Old Pony, Something of a record is this 36-year-old pony to be found on the J.M. Cook farm in Dale District. Teddy a cross between a Shetland and a Welsh Pony lives a good life these days, roaming the farm to his own content. He’s a shaggy one, a heavy coat to ward off the winter chill. Although he’s 36, he still won’t stand any nonsense from anyone and at times is frisky enough that he’s hard to catch and halter.
