In the third photo, Mr. Darragh and the customer look through the X-Ray machine that will tell the story of how the toes are fittisg [sic] in the shoe and if the ball of the foot is in the right place. In smaller children the machine affords Mother an opportunity to see as well as to be sure that a proper fitting is being made when it is most important.
