Metropolitan store ready for opening

The Met re-opens

Metropolitan Store employees were busy all last week preparing for the re-opening of the store. The local Met store was destroyed by fire on July 25, but company officials made short work of getting the building up off the ground once again. The new building features new and modern fixtures, along with an expanded lunch counter service, and store employees look forward to getting back into the old grind. (Staff photo by Sharron Wild)
