Poring [sic] concrete for pilings at new Cinema Centre site

Don’t drive just pour

A crew of workmen were at the site of the new theatre Tuesday to install pilings for the structure. However, there were no wooden pilings to drive. They were doing the job the modern way. And that is they were pouring concrete into a digging along with reinforcement steel after a giant crane auger had done its part of the job. And from observance of the sidewalk superintendents, this method is a far cry from the old pile-drivers.
