Cinema Centre now open for business

Modern decor

Portage la Prairie's new Theatre Centre that officially opens at 6 p.m. today offers the latest and finest in theatre surroundings. At top is the eye-catching foyer and snack bar area, all done in the most modern trend that is pleasing to patrons. Immediately above is the intricate projection equipment which proprietor Al Miller has installed in the city's newest recreation facility. Mayor Karen Device is to officially open the Theatre Centre today in company with Mr. Miller whose project has come a long way since it was started in July.
