Yellowquill School gets ball diamond backstop courtesy of Trans-Canada Pipeline and Portage Concrete

Trans Canada Pipeline and Portage Concrete combined to erect a baseball or softball backstop on the Yellowquill school grounds. Trans-Canada Pipelines, are located at Edwin, Manitoba and John Ostenfeldt is the general foreman there. Trans-Canada Pipelines provided the backstop material, the hydraulic crane and the labor while Portage Concrete, donated the cement to secure the backstop in place. Trans-Canada Pipeline has done back stops in Portage last year and plan to do an other one this year. Pictured above from the left are Al Ressler, Jack Nash and Roy Boak of Trans-Canada Pipelines.
