Employees at the Campbell Soup Company Ltd mushroom farm in Portage completed six months of accident free operation as of Dec. 27, 1975. For this feat they were awarded the Director of Procurement C1 Safety Flag Friday afternoon officially presented [in?] Portage by plant manager, C. E. Jackson, who was acting on behalf of D. A. Gendron of Toronto, the company's director of procurement. Larry Romanyk, left, area manager of the Portage mushroom plant accepted the flag. D. R. Richards, centre, Portage mushroom operation manager also participated in the brief recognition ceremony.
