AGRICULTURAL MEMORIAL MUSEUM SOCIETY MANITOBA
AT THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Agricultural Museum of Manitoba held Wednesday, Thomas Carrothers left, of Austin, presented to Rev. G. H. Hambley, president, the deed for the tract of land at Austin which he donated to the provincial museum association. Secretary J. A. Hay also appears in the picture.
J. S. McMURACHY of McConnell, left, formally presents the McMurachy trophy to Albert Birnie of Angusville, winner of the steam engine setting contest at the Threshermen’s Reunion held last October. The Thershermen’s Reunion was organized by the Agricultural Museum of Mnaitoba, which held its annual meeting Wednesday.
APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS took place at the annual meeting of the Agricultural Museum of Manitoba. Nominated for three years are Rev. G. H. Hambley, of Basswood; Mayor H. L. Henderson of Portage; George Down of Holland, and Thomas Lobb of Helston. For two years: D. Carrothers ofAustin; W. Vann of Winnipeg; D. McKeand of Douglas, and Don Melney of Mackinac. For one year: J. J. Hambley of Winnipeg; Albert Birinie of Angusville; Ralph Welch of Roland; and Wm. Stanger of Portage. Honorary directors appointed are: J. McMurachy of McConnell; A. Grobb of Treherne; T. Carrothers of Austin; D. A. Campbell of Portage, and H. Mitchell of Roland. The directors and other members of the Association appear in this picture.
