LIONS MEMORIAL POOL NEW BUILDING OFFICIAL OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING
DR. G. H. Hamlin, past-president of the lions club and first president of the Portage Lions Co-op Recreational Committee, cuts the ribbon officially opening the new Lions Swimming Pool building Tuesday evening. The ceremonies were conducted in front of the new $30,000 building with members of the Lions Club and general public in attendance. Present chairman of the Lions Co-op, W. Cochlan, presided. The pool will open for swimming on Saturday, July 1.
