Air Officer Saves 7-Year-Old

FO. J. E. Masini, centre, of RCAF Station Portage la Prairie, talks with two buddies who were with him during the week-end when he rescued a seven-year-old boy from drowning in a creek in Happy Land park, St. Boniface. On the left is PO. J. D. Misener and PO. J. L. Lebrun is on the right. FO. Masini jumped into the creek fully clothed to rescue the boy.
