(Tashiro) October 5th, 1968 SPORTS JUNIOR TERRIERS HOCKEY TRY-OUT CAMP A PORTION OF THE LARGE TURNOUT at the Portage Terriers’ Junior “A” hockey camp Saturday morning at Portage’s Centennial Arena. Coach Bryan Hextall, front left, and Juvenile coach Ken Irwin, left rear, put this group and a second group through their paces Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the players were waiting to get their skates sharpened. Bryan has until next Sunday to slice the team down to a workable number for the Terriers’ season opener this Sunday at St. Boniface. He hopes to have an intra-squad game Friday is the ice difficulties can be corrected.
