CITIZEN OF THE YEAR FOR 1971 is Ald. A. R. Barrett, at right, who accepts the annual Chamber of Commerce award here from Ken Bicknell, president of the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce. The award was in recognition of Alder man Barrett's long period of public service to the community.
OFFICAL TURNING OVER of the gravel of the gravel of office to Mrs. Audrey Healey, first lady president of Portage and District Chamber of Commerce. She succeeds Dr. J. N. Stasiuk, retiring president, who officially turned over the office Saturday night at the annual Chamber dinner.
