Canadian Salt Company, Neepawa, 1950s
"Neepawa is situated over a natural brine deposit many miles in radius. The salt brine is pumped up by air lift and processed by evaporation. It is the only plant of its type in Canada. All kinds of commercial salt and other chlorides are produced. The company employs about sixty people. Visitors are always welcome to tour the plant."
