AN ARMY HELICOPTER from Rivers, Man., hovers over the heads of spectators during Air Force Day activities at RCAF Station Portage La Prairie. The helicopter went through various maneuvers to show the large crowd in attendance that it could start or stop in extremely small space.
Spectators got a close-up view of the T-33 Silver Star jet at Southport Saturday. Here a number of them ascend a ramp to take a look at the pilot's seat and the interior of the cockpit.
