The Yule kettle. A familiar sight on Portage's Saskatchewan Avenue at this time of year is the Salvation Army 'kettle' by which passersby can help ass some of the cheer of the season to families and individuals who look to the 'Sally Anne' for assistance. Volunteer workers look after the kettle daily.
