A GRAND-DAADY among turtles was found by W. E. Sharp, of Portage, just south of the steel bridge, south of the city. MR. Sharp found the turtle on the road and had to drive around it. The reptile weights between 40 and 50 pounds and measures two feet nine inches from now to tail. its shell was 14 inches across.
