Guest speaker at the first fall meeting of the Local Council of Women, Mrs. Sidney McArton of Winnipeg left is pictured above with Mrs. James Franklin, president of the local Council. Mrs. McArton spoke on the "Metis of Manitoba." She is chairman of a committee which studied the "Metis."
