MB1870: Manitoba Historical Photographs

March 30, 1972, Gideon International, Portage Camp, Gideon International presents 30 Bibles to Lions Prairie Manor, Portage Camp of Gideon International recently presented 30 volumes of the Holy Bible for use by residents of Lions Prairie Manor. N. M Tilley, right Portage president made the presentation to Jo Maguire, Also taking part in the presentation ceremony were Manor administrator Aime Omichinski, at extreme left and local camp secretary N. D Tyler, centre, who offered the dedicatory prayer, The presentation was witnessed by a good portion of residents at the Manor.
