P.C. I. - B.C. Pea Growers scholarship to Lorna Leader
The 1956 B.C. Pea Growers scholarship has been won by Lorna Leader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Leader of the Poplar Bluff district. The scholarship is awarded to any student who is the son or daughter of parents who gain their livelihood from farming in the Portage School Division area. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of the grade 11 June departmental examinations. PCI principal W. C. Taylor made the presentation to Miss Leader on Monday.
