Heart fund campaign - $2,000 cheque
The Manitoba Heart Fund was boosted Friday by $2,000.53 from Portage la Prairie residents and business people. Here Jack Shindleman, at left, presents the certified cheque to Ald. W. H. Vopni who accepts on behalf of the Heart Fund. The contribution is the result of a one-night blitz held in Portage recently.
