Yellowquill School - Yellowquill School students see demonstration on finger-printing by RCMP officer

Fingerprints students

Cst. J. G. Cunningham of the Portage RCMP is shown fingerprinting grade six student Michelle Leatham of Yellowquill school. No, she didn’t commit any crime. Grade six teachers Miss Betty Street and Mrs. Georgina Cuthbert had a story on fingerprinting in the curriculum and requested a demonstration from the RCMP. Cst. Cunningham obliged and capably answered a number of questions from students on the work of the RCMP who, incidently [incidentally], are observing their 100th year of operation in Canada.
