La Verendrye awards day
As well as the standard awards, this year two new awards were added to the recognition day ceremonies at La Verendrye school. Barry Cote (front left) was named athlete of the year, while (l-r) Marlene Pryzner was named outstanding student of the year, and Cindy McDonald and Ken Neufeld were presented with the new House League trophy. Charles Humeniuk (front right) presented the House League trophy, while Bonnie Nunn (back left) presented the outstanding student award. Bill Zwiep and Alan Baldwin were house counsellors at L.V.S. this year.
