City schools observe fire prevention week
Public school students at Fort la Reine School are seen lined up outside the school which was evacuated at the sound of the fire alarm triggered by Portage la Prairie fire chief George Spriggs. The test by the fire chief was held Thursday in conjunction with the National Fire Prevention campaign now in progress.
