Newfoundland students visit city - Part of student exchange program

Twenty-four students from Newfoundland were in Portage on Tuesday, one stop in a Morden, Carman and Portage tour taken in the province that day. The students are part of the 1864-1964 Fathers of Confederation student exchange program. They are seen here on the steps of city hall with Mayor H. L. Henderson and later took in the sites at the Portage Fair.
