Ladies of the Portage Plains United Way Inc. were busy Monday afternoon stuffing canvassers’ kits for the house-to-house campaign which begins October 7. Those taking part in the first work-bee in the Inter-City Gas boardroom included, from the left, Mrs. Evelyn Mason, PPUW secretary Mrs. Phyllis Moffatt, chairman Mrs. Dorothy Mustard, Mrs. Jeanne Holland and Mrs. Hrefna McCartney.
