United Way
Oddfellows donate to United Way
Portage Plains United Way for the second consecutive year topped its objective, mainly due to the generosity of individual donors and numerous organizations. One of these groups is I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 3. Monday they presented a cheque to United Way vice-president Judge F. W. Newman. Representing the lodge were financial secretary John Akkerman, left, and Noble Grand H. McNeill, centre.
