Portage United Way first allotment cheque presented to Portage and Distruct [District] Association for Mentally Retarded
First United Way cheque for 1972 was presented Tuesday by the new board chairman, Rev. Patrick Lee, to Mrs. Ellen Byrk, president of the Portage and District Association for the Mentally Retarded. With them here is George Wautier, manager of Portage ARC Industries which works under the association, and Bobby Lawrie and John Maltby.
