Portage Plains United Way - 1974 house-to-house canvass kick-off
It’s go today!
The canvass of the residential areas gets underway today in the Portage Plains United Way Inc. 1974 campaign. Here campaign chairman, Dr. C. M. Thomas, right, meets with the residential canvassers at an informal coffee party hosted by the Bank of Montreal. The canvassers will make initial calls in all areas of the city today and local residents are urged to support the canvasser. Residents can also co-operate by leaving porch lights on.
