Pandemonium in the good-natured form broke loose during the third period of the second annual schmockey game Sunday night at the Centennial Arena between Liniment League All-Stars and the Portage Minor Hockey Association coaches. Here, the Minor League group led by "Pokey" Blight and "Moe" Cartmana, throw the referee over the boards after they had decided they could get along better without game officials.
Easy way out is in the mind of Gerald Cobbe, MP, one of the gritty gladiators of the broomball game held in the Centennial Arena as part of the second annual Schmockey Night. Carting him off are his opponents, the burly firefighters, who out-muscled the lighter challengers comprised of city officials, press and radio, and the mayor.
