Portage Fair - Last Day Hindered By Rain
Grand Champion 4-H and Commercial class calf shown at Portage Fair this year was by Harold Jackson of Langruth, Don Cleaver of Poplar Bluff with the reserve, an 880 pound reserve for 36 cents. Looking on is Fair Board president Lawrence Smith.
Inter-club showmanship champion at the 4-H calf clubs show at Portage Fair this year is Helgi Sigurdson of Langruth, shown here with the Angus calf she exhibited in competition. Helgi topped a strong field to win the showmanship award.
