Apples can be grown in Portage la Prairie - and Tony Spilchuk has the proof here. He holds a couple of choice beauties in his hands and displays others on the table. All came from his apple orchard south of the Assiniboine. Tony has been a fruit fancier for years and a consistent prize winner in provincial shows.
