Tashiro December 16/68 Sports PORTAGE DISTRICT MINOR HOCKEY ACTIONS BEGIN The portage and district minor hockey league began the 1968-69 season Monday night at a number of local arenas. At the North End Community Club, North Side Pee Wees and their West End counterparts battled to a 3-3 tie to inaugurate their schedules.
